The hidden object games are gaining in popularity, and they now number in the hundreds. A lot are inspired by books, comics, even TV show. WMC is based on the TV show, which is based on a series of novels written by James Patterson. It follows the lives of four women in San Francisco, a detective, a forensics specialist, a reporter and a district attorney. |

The story follows the case of a young Asian woman who is found dead, with chinese characters branded on her chest. In the game, the player switches between three characters, depending on the state of the case. The main gameplay element is finding listed hidden objects on the screen, which all three characters do. The detective also checks for clues with small minigames, the forensics doctor does DNA and blood matching in another minigame, and the reporter gets leads by playing a guessing word minigame. |

The graphics and sounds are quite well done, and there are comic strip tiles which progress the story. All in all, this is a very fun, but very short game, only covering the one big case. |

Well, here's one more piece for the shit pile. Let me be brief, this is just another "Hidden object" game clone, so there aren't that many surprises. Now that that's out of the way, let me get to the premise.
The game is about four characters, who fight crime. No, it's not the ninja turtles, it's a squad of lesbian feminists. When they're not busy talking about their vaginas and drinking cosmopolitans, they're solving crime. WTF? Who actually thinks this is a good idea for a show?
Anyway, there is something really annoying about the whole game, and it's not the bra burning liberation crap, it's the annoying story about some asian branding rituals or some such crap.
